Hi! I’m Sue! I love crafting! I love yarn. I love all things fiber related. If you haven’t met me in person yet, one thing you should know about me is that you want me on your Zombie Apocalypse team: except for getting the wool off the sheep, I can do the entire process from sheep to wearable object. I am not FAST about it, but I can do it! LOL
Why Busy as a Stitching Bee
I am happy to share my skills with you, so you can ALSO be the fiber/clothing person on your Zombie Apocalypse team! All apocalypse teams need someone who will keep everyone clothed. In the mean time, I have more craft ideas than I have time to execute them. Let me share my knowledge with you!
Crafting history
Crochet
I’ve been crocheting since I asked my mom to teach me when I was 8 or 9 years old. In the 1900s.
Sewing
Since my first year in 4-H. Not that many years after I learned crochet.
Knitting
In 2010, I taught myself to knit so I could make socks. I’ve made 3 socks. Not 3 pairs of socks. Three socks.
Spinning
Once I got involved in Ravelry with knitting, spinning quickly followed.
